You Could Try Sears.

A website dedicated to Mean Girls? Of course. How could there not be? www.meangirls.com

I'll admit, I was hoping to find a website dedicated to Mean Girls quotes and memes but I only found Tumblr sites. So I figured I'd go with the actual dot com.

What is this website? Just a Mean Girls 10th Anniversary celebration. It's totally grool. So mostly what you can do on this website is create frames and ENTER FOR A CHANCE TO WIN A $1,000 SHOPPING SPREE TO ICING! I shop at Icing every day! (No I don't).

So you can click on a big, pink, glittery button that reads "CONNECT & CREATE" but only after, of course, you accept the terms and conditions that you read beginning to end every single time. This button is huge in the middle of the screen just taunting you to click it. This button takes you to Facebook to "connect" you and promises not to post on your profile but it probably will anyway. I made the sacrifice and connected my Facebook to this website for this blog post. This is what I created in three steps on this site...

This is m niece and she's the real Queen Bee, sorry Regina.

The site gives you the option to save, Tweet, Facebook, email, and a number of other ways to share your creation. There's really not anything else you can do on this website other than buy a digital copy of the movie and enter to win the Icing shopping spree (hell yeah). But it really makes a lot of sense that they choose Icing as the shopping spree store because the Mean Girls dress like Barbies (I've never seen an actual real human being dress like that nor have I known an actual real human being to shop at Icing). The only other story that would have been more appropriate is the store 1, 3, 5. They only carry the sizes 1, 3, and 5. If you don't fit in those sizes, you could try Sears.

  1. The pink and the glitter on the site are very fitting for the site topic. I did notice that there were links to social media sites in the top right corner. They took me to Paramount Pictures twitter and Instagram as well as Mean Girls 10th Anniversary Facebook Page. I thought it was clever of them to link the Paramount Pictures Twitter and Instagram because it is good advertisement for them. The Facebook page might lead you to other Mean Girls devoted sites. Did any of the Tumblr sites have links for other Mean Girls sites?

  2. First of all the picture of your niece is very cute. The site is definitely trying to promote itself by enticing you to like on Facebook or post your mean girls frame picture to other sites. If people do this then friends and family members will see what you have created and/or liked and they might get interested too. Then the site gains more popularity which helps to keep the site going.
